I bought my truffles there and eat them on an empty stomach, but I came back at the shop after few hours because it didn't work as I expected. The strong guy put the responsibility on me saying that I should have eat first, then wait. I was not satisfied because it's quite the opposite, food attenuates the effects. I appreciated that he finally gave me another box.

Walking into The Magic Mushroom Gallery, it’s like stepping into Willy Wonka’s factory if Willy Wonka ditched the candy and got really into psychedelics. The place is cool, don’t get me wrong, but it’s also, like, seriously overpriced. We’re talking twice the price you’d find at any smart shop outside of Amsterdam. You know, the ones where tourists aren’t treated like walking ATMs. I grabbed some truffles here, and at first, I was feeling pretty good about it. Until wait for it I hit up Stonedoos north of Amsterdam and got the exact same amount and strength for 20 bucks. Compare that to the 50 I forked over here at The Magic Mushroom Gallery, and suddenly my truffle trip felt less like a magical journey and more like I’d been taken for a ride. And the staff? Yeah, they weren’t exactly fountains of wisdom when it came to truffle usage. I was hoping for some sage advice, maybe even a “Take this and prepare to ascend to the next level, young grasshopper,” but instead, I got a shrug and a “Here’s your stuff, good luck.” Not exactly confidence-boosting. In the end, I’m giving it 3 stars. The truffles were good, but the price? Not so much. If you’re stuck in the heart of Amsterdam and can’t escape to greener, cheaper pastures, this place’ll do the trick. Just make sure your wallet is as ready for the trip as you are

Feels like a scam. Money wasted. We went to this place because it’s highly rated on Google Maps, and at first, it lived up to the expectations. The customer service was great, and the employee pitched us some truffles that were on sale. We decided to buy them and followed all the instructions before consuming them. Thirty minutes passed—nothing. An hour passed—still nothing. An hour and a half later, all we experienced were stomach issues. Apparently, the batch didn’t work for either me or my partner. I’ve had Psilocybin before, so I knew what to expect and how my body usually reacts. I’ve also had experiences where a product didn’t work for anyone in a group. The next day, I decided to return and ask for a refund. I knew it might be tricky with this kind of product, but I hoped for some cooperation based on our previous good experience. I approached the same staff member who sold it to us, but his attitude had completely changed. Instead of trying to help, he accused us of either lying about the experience or doing other drugs two days prior. I don’t know where he got that idea, but he clearly blamed us for the product not working. He offered us a cheaper alternative, which I reluctantly accepted. However, I left it behind since it was my last day in the city, and I wasn’t in the mood to try again. It made me wonder if they were pushing the discounted product because they knew something was wrong with it. I understand the challenges of being in this business, but I wish they had better after-sales service and were more understanding, rather than just gaslighting their customers. Anyway, I hope this was just a one-time bad experience. We really enjoyed everything else before this incident—stickers, service, chocolate bars. It’s truly a shame it turned out this way.

Great experience, it was first time to try magic truffles for me and my friends. When we came to the shop a lady who works there explained us everything, was very friendly and keen to answer any questions. The experience form truffles themselves was great as well. Really nice!

I bought some Golden Teacher truffles that didn't do anything for me, so I returned to the shop and asked why. They gave me 15 grams of Mother Finest for free to try. This time, the experience was amazing. It felt like pure consciousness without the physical body experience here on earth. Lots of shapes colours and forms. I was navigate by vibrations..It was a great trip.

Great service and brilliant advice for an amazing trip! We were refused due to having a few beers before so followed the advice and went back the next day and had a great afternoon! Got much more than we anticipated from a box of truffles, cannot recommend this place and the staff enough will definitely return when we're in Amsterdam again. Thanks guys

If you are wanting to do truffles in Amsterdam this is where you should be going. They don’t taste nearly as bad as any of the others bought from other smart shops. As well as this I had the cosmic connectors as a first trip and did it with a friend, we both had an amazing time in Amsterdam and were both very joyful and laughing a lot… I mean a lot… anyway this is definitely the place to go!!

i spent 25 euros for 10gs of Mothers Finest and the description in the shop is "Very Visual" I was soooo excited and tried but didn’t effected which the types are one of the strongest ones! It made me just dizzy and gave a little giggles for short and ended. The result is i ate 10gr without any effect. Im so disappointed

The man who explained it to me was very polite. I asked him for the highest dosage. Another store I went to had crazy madafuckers, but these people were polite. I could see into the future through these truffles. Good service and stuff.

The crew is so friendly and helpful. Thank you all for your nice behaviors! ✨ But sadly, the products are not effective at all. I bought Area 51 and Golden Teacher 10gr each few weeks ago. I returned my country and tried directly. Im using mushrooms maybe last 7-8 years which it’s not my first experience. I was soooo excited and tried but didn’t effected which the types are one of the strongest ones! It made me just dizzy and gave a little giggles for short and ended. The result is me and my friend ate 20gr without any effect. Im so disappointed and sad at the end…

Went there on September '23 because of good reviews on advising first time users. They gave me 10g of truffles gave of variety they don't sell on their website and a chocolate bar. I bought a microdosing package too. Long story short, took the 10g with no effects, so an hour later I took the 6g of the microdosing package wich resulted in mild euphoria. Next day I had an upset stomach , too. Place seems a tourist trap.

Got 10g of the golden teacher and as a veteran was expecting at least some decent visuals. I got a severe but fleeting bout if the giggle and that was about it. I maybe need to dose up for next time but if you're a heavy lad or tolerant to psychs then definitely get more than the prescribed dose

Unfortunately my experience with this store wasn’t good. I am a psychedelic fanatic and I grow my own and use them for its many extraordinary benefits. They gave me the strongest strain they had and I followed their instructions closely and I never felt a thing. When I went back to the store to see if they had something stronger the man at the counter told me I did everything wrong that it was my fault. He wouldn’t allow me to purchase more because I smoked a little joint about 30 minutes before I went in to see if the affects would be enhanced. Even with the joint nothing helped and the man at the counter wasn’t helpful or nice he spoke to me like I was a junkie even though I am sure that I am more of an enthusiast than he is. If there was a zero star I would’ve picked that but hopefully you guys have better luck in Amsterdam. I am so heartbroken I had to come back and edit this review. I really am just so epically disappointed that a company I dreamed of visiting for years has given me this experience

I had a wonderful experience with my friend. We bought tryffels for the first time and followed the clear instructions that the guy serving us told us. Very pleasant experience and 100% recommend to anyone who is interested in the genre!

As much as I don’t like to write 1 star reviews i have to because my experience was 1 star: I followed the instructions literally 1 to 1 - i was supposed to feel good and have mild hallucinations,but instead i only felt like I’ve drank 5 beers(slightly dizzy) and after 2-3 hours of the same thing i got bored waiting and went to bed - but then I couldn’t sleep at all i was rotating in my bed for another 3-4 hours and bad thoughts came one after another…. I went with a friend and he bought another kind of truffels and had absolutely the same experience. He felt also like drunk and had no effects. 1.almost to zero effects 2.inducing bad thoughts 3.low quality sleep Unfortunately this was my experience absolutely not worth the 25 euro

As a person trying mushrooms/truffles for the first time, would highly recommend this shop as the workers are highly educated and can make the experience perfect. Failed to get the persons name who served me but he was was very educated, calm the nerves that i had before hand. 10/10

Best shop for truffles in Amsterdam. The last 3 times I have been to Amsterdam I have tried truffles and this time I went to the Magic Mushroom Gallery randomly and this place is amazing. It's a really nice vibe and the truffles are far better than the ones I have had previously. The guy serving me was very informative and helpful and I think this would be a good place to go for first timers because he had a lot of good tips and genuinely seemed to care about the experience.

If you are inexperienced with truffles, head to the Magic Mushroom Gallery. We had a wonderful experience. The guy helping us out was super helpful, providing us with a full load down on how to enjoy your time. The shop is also a great place to buy nicknacks!!

Warning before I get into my review: chew the truffles until they nearly disappear…the first time I tried these, my definition of “chew thoroughly” was insufficient, as I threw them up soon after. The second time, I chewed til I couldn’t anymore and was good! Nice shop with helpful folks. Only 4 stars because despite telling the lady I was experienced and have enjoyed similar products when partying, she warned me a bit too harshly. Didn’t seem to believe my experience, maybe especially as I’m a young woman. I wish I would’ve bought the stronger dose, as the smaller was a mild “beginner” trip and far from the “overwhelming experience with visuals” she described. Don’t be scared and have fun :)

so glad we chose to come here for truffles while in Amsterdam! the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in our picking out what we wanted from the menu. my friend and I split the larger quantity of Atlantis and ended up having a lovely day by the canal in Utrecht

The first time I went to this shop the lady inside was very unfriendly, rude and spoke to me as if she was doing me a favor. Not even trying to hide the fact that she didn't want to help me. The product I bought was very good so I decided to order some other online. Edit: the product I ordered online eventually came, a bit late but it came perfectly packed and still usable. The shop and the service are good, just not the lady that is around, discarding her clients isn't a good way to maintain business, you you are not good with customer care, do something else lady...

Best travel agency in the Netherlands, I've been in Santa's Town. Even though we didn't find any gnome, we enjoyed the trip. Sincerely cool guys and well explained. And if you're not sure what you're looking for or any inconvenience, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

It's much closer to a gift shop, in my opinion, rather than a gallery or shop you're thinking of. There are very interesting souvenirs inside and they even let you try some of them. Even though I was not satisfied with the prices and I thought the name of the place can be little misleading, the staff were very attentive and helpful.

We had an amazing experience here…. The guy with long hair was fantastic and he explained well All the mushrooms and what you have to expect in the trip. We had a magic, beautiful, powerful trip in Vondelpark. Was ONE of the best experience in my life , i saw inside myself and have answers to some life’s questions Very very high reccomend. An excellent array of funny and humour products containing some that are also useful as well. The names tells all, and you can instantly see what kind of shop it is going to be. It doesn't disappoint and is a very intesting place that is not suitable for kids, no matter how much if looks like it is. It is very clear about what it is though, so you don't have to worry. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place as it contains a lot of funny or interesting products, has a nice staff work force, and is also fun to look around.

If you are looking for a boost of happiness then this is the store. Almost all kinds of cannabis is sold here...even the seeds. There are cannabis cakes and other items that one has never heard of. Also, there are different types and grades of the green vege so you'd best ask the staff on their recommendation. Do remember that it is not legal in many countries if you intend to bring this back.

Cool shop, lots to pick from. I was a bit overwhelmed and asked for suggestions looking for a truffle with a hallucinogenic effect. The saleswoman suggested dragonslayer, I took it on an empty stomach. But my experience was 90% laughing and 10% brighter color vision, but no hallucinations. I had fun for sure but it was not what I was hoping for. Still very cool shop, definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just to look around!
