First of all, I had to wait 10-20 minutes because the saleswoman (or maybe even the owner?) was advising the couple in front of me and came across as quite lecturing.
When it was finally my turn, the exact same thing happened to me. She started testing me on how much experience I had. I understand asking a few questions, but she talked down to me and treated a paying adult customer like a child, all while a line of at least 7 people was forming behind me. Besides, I am by no means a beginner.
In the end, she refused to sell me anything because I didn't want to participate in this endless questioning anymore, and honestly, I just don't have the time for that.
At the next shop, about 200 meters down the street, I had absolutely no problem getting what I would have gladly spent my money on here.

I had a great experience with Daniel at Smartshop Number One. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain the different truffles, and helped me choose the right option based on what I was looking for. His advice was clear, honest, and professional, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. If you're looking for excellent service and someone who really knows their products, I highly recommend asking for Daniel.

Very friendly and informative staff.
We stopped by this shop and had a really good experience. The staff were helpful, patient, and took the time to explain things clearly instead of rushing us. That made the visit feel much more comfortable and professional.
The overall vibe of the shop was welcoming, and the service was the main thing that stood out to us. If you are looking for a place with kind staff and good customer service, this is definitely a solid option.

Such a great experience at Number One in Amsterdam! Ben and his associate were super welcoming and made everything feel easy and comfortable from the start. The vibe in the shop is really chill and friendly.
They answered all my questions, gave solid advice on how to take everything, and made sure it was prepared and divided perfectly. The whole trip went amazing. Honestly, 10/10 experience would 100% recommend.

From a polish girl to Ben (google has some troubles with adding my opinion): thank you so much for advising me! That day I went to Vondelpark and had a really nice afternoon :) I was maybe feeling a little little anxious sometimes, but mostly I was admiring the nature and chilling, watching and smelling roses in the rosarium, a small drizzle came and it created a rainbow :) and I also randomly got a beautiful sunflower from a stranger in that park during that time! I will for sure have really nice memories.
Thank you again and I'm deffo gonna come back one day and try sth else :)
Greetings and hope you are doing well!

I was looking for introspection and visual effets, unfortunately my body didn’t want it so it didn’t do much effets even when it was my first time ever trying mushrooms, my brain just got so quiet, i had effets but they were light.
It was a nap awake, felt really peaceful and calm, and every experience is different.

Great shop! The seller was very friendly and gave a great recommendation! It was my first time eating magic truffles and it was a fun experience; quite trippy, energizing and so on. Would love to come here again if I ever visit Amsterdam again.

the guy is very prepared and helpful. the truffles I ate were terrible though (atlantis): i’ve never tried truffles before, and with a medium dose (15gr) they gave me no effects. I chewed them for literally one hour and i didnt feel anything except the disgusting taste
D K - 2 jaar geleden
Very knowledgeable person he will explain you how everything works what dosage you need to take and how to stop the effect. I didn’t try personally just was curious about that how it works.

Amazing. Whoever said these were beginner truffles must be god herself. or just dutch. nah just kiddng. so funny. We´ve been to Tokyo, all of the Mario KArt arenas AND south korea AND japan in just ONE night. for 14 euros!!! a roundtrip. around the world. 10/10 would recommenmd. Maybe start with lower dosage and go somewhere safe. we loved to go to bed after strollin round several mario kart arenas (i think it was always the same one lol, we just thought it would be a few more). afterwards we like to eat cheesy flips. tell us about your experience! Mit freundlichen Grüßen

If you are looking for a quality smartshop in Amsterdam, then look no further! The staff is very welcoming, the selection of products is well curated and extensive. For some products, you will pay 5 times less than in other smartshops and get better quality as well. Its a no brainer really!

My intention was to take a heroic dose (30 grams) of Hollandia. The salespeople were very good. The trip was very nice but not as intense as previous trips when I took a smaller dose of weaker truffles. Music was incredibly beautiful. YouTube videos were also very nice. I had some deep thoughts some of which were not so nice. Lingering effects are the emotion of love is stronger and more present in my personality. I'm much calmer. Speech is slower, clearer, more deliberate, and more focused. Responses are more intelligent. I'd say that more passages in my brain were opened up, but it seems this is in the subconscious mind. The conscious mind did not recognize anything happening at the time. It's not clear why the psilocybin was not very powerful. The truffles were in excellent condition. It could be that I can only take it a limited number of times. It could be also that I've learned most of the lessons of the plant. It could be that it behaved like CBD.

The guy on the counter seemed completely uninterested in assisting me. I told him of my experience with spacecake and his reply was "go to a coffeeshop I dont sell that". I told him this so he could guide me on what would be suitable for me, given I was a first timer. The conversation that followed wasnt any friendlier either. Unless you enjoy being treated rudely, find another place to buy your stuff (there are plenty within a 100 m radius).

The person working there, told us everything we need to know in advance! He was so helpful and really kind. Nothing to do with what someone wrote. Nice job guys... Once in a lifetime psychedelic experience. MUST try.

If you sell this powerful stuff you should be greeting the customers with an enthusiasm. This is an exciting experience for people who hasn’t done it before. If you can’t connect with that, don’t be on the other side of the counter and selling it.
First we asked for truffles for someone who has no experience. He showed us to different kinds, and we chose the Mexican. But he gave us the other one, and we discovered that we got the wrong one when we got back.
The one we got is described as for the experienced, named Atlantis. The Mexicana is described as lighter and easier going.
Be present, give out the right things we ask for. Don’t sleep or smoke to much on the job. Remember, this is an interesting trip for people, even if you have done it hundred times yourself.
