I cannot get over how amazing the staff was. Unfortunately, I do not know the spanish guy's name, but he was absolutely phenomenal! He gave us a dose of comedy along with perfect recommendations. We were in stitches. He made it personable, adorable, and super welcoming. We got a hilarious grinder doubled as a Rubik's cube. Must visit!!!

I had two dreadful experiences at this store. The first staff member, a Dutch guy with a shaved head, was downright creepy. He pried into my personal background and star sign, and his close, leering presence was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. It’s clear from previous reviews that this kind of behavior is not new—so why is he still here? The second visit was just as bad. I was greeted by a salesperson who had a lot of tattoos and was obviously high, struggling with broken English, and totally unfit to assist customers. It’s shocking that someone in such a state is allowed to interact with shoppers. Both experiences were unacceptable and show a serious lack of basic social skills and professionalism. The store's management should be embarrassed and take immediate action to address these issues.

Always very friendly staff at this place. Am buying magic truffels at this place for years now, never had any complaints. From good advice and the time they take in the shop. Although I bought a 85€ pack of truffles for me and my friends last week, where one of the packs was looking different (more wet, moist even and the taste was off). I called the staff and followed his advice on sending the pictures to them. He promised he’d take it serious and I felt heard. Unfortunately the person who came back to me on email was very rude and not understanding at all. Blamed me for taking the truffles too quick after the last use (I’m doing this for 10 years so what about no)…? Not happy with the online service at all! Would still like to mention the people in the shop are really sweet and caring I’m never going to buy here again and will look for an online distributor that takes me more serious.

Nice shop but quality of kratom is really TERRIBLE, I tried my regular dose and feels ZERO, after I tried 2x of my dose, still nothing, it's just doesn't work, why you sell such a bad kratom?? I spent 80 euros for kratom yesterday and expect that I'll feel something, but in the end I spent money for nothing! I'm really upset

I get 10gr Atlantis, i was hungry didn't even had breakfast. I chewed well and didn't eat anything but NOTHING happened. Literally the woman inside, try to sell you and convince you to buy it. DON'T BELIEVE THEM. IT'S SCAM!

The service is in most cases high on products they sell. Once I was try to buy a box of shrooms for 15€ the cashier (literally tripping) charged me 30€ (I did not notice that until I received the payment confirmation). After that I paid the 15 again, when I asked when the money will appear on my account they replied that it should take around a week. After few months of waiting and few phone calls to the service of the shop (incompetent as well) my money is still not there. Bunch of junkies working there

First time in here, when in Amsterdam ;) There was a lady working there and she was very friendly and approachable, giving us great knowledge of the goods and where to start if you’re a beginner. She gave good details on what to expect and the strength of products and there was no pressure with any purchasing. Looked like they had a big range of seed, bud and truffs as well as health supplements and utilities too. Easy to find on a strip of cafes and restaurants, you’ll smell the ‘coffee’ shop next to it and know ;P

Scam. Had a conversation with the staff to understand potency and explained personal experience with it. Was given this as a recommendation. Bought 5 of them. Zero effect off eating the entire thing for the 3 of us who tried. Even confirmed how they should be stored and they told me they would be fine outside of the fridge for 3-4 days. Don’t be fooled, tourist scam. Bummer because ~10 years ago I had a great time on truffles in Amsterdam.

Scam store! Went there with two friends, we bought truffles and nothing happened for us. We came back to explain and the person said “I’m sorry it didn’t work, but I assure you it’s in your body”… 3 people and no effect on any of us, that can’t be a coincidence. Didn’t give us back our money or other truffles. This store shouldn’t exists.

I ordered truffles through their website and never arrived its been days since my package didnt get any updates and my truffles travelling in 30+ degree. I'm not giving myself food poisoning. Also not communicative not getting reply from them about shipping. They look like having a legit store in dam but who cares i feel scammed with my product never ordering again. Unsafe and waste of time. Edit: it arrived after a week chugged the whole bottle with resetted tolerance and 0 effects and no refunds dont buy fromhere

I was looking for a glass filter (instead of the paper ones for rolling) and she was looking for one too! Based on the previous reviews I would like to more about effects and dosage of the truffles. Equivalent of 10g of fresh truffles is approximately 1g of dried mushrooms (psilocybe). We went for three most potent strains and hit it in two doses (10g + 10g), although not super strong we could feel obvious changes of perception (intensifying of colours, mild euforia, rather strong body effect - shimmering, difficulties with focus, strong tendency to swing and listen to the music). I am really not sure about the particular effects of mushrooms as far as I consider all kinds very similar. If you want a proper high it is recommendable to consume whole package (20-22g) AT ONCE! The difficulty may be taste, definitely don't recommended the orange one (Dutch Dragon) the rest is not delicious but edible. KEEP IT SAFE! Anyway in Tatanka you may get lots of stuff and some info by seller too. Nice place not far from Vondelpark or historic centre.

I’m not so heavy or deeply experienced psychonautic traveller yet but I must admit that I have learned to enjoy coming back to this particular shop because for the past few months I have been really well educated and coached how to explore the world of herbal magic and self healing through and amazing employee in this shop. And I do wholeheartedly hope that the management of this shop and chain will recognise her as one of the leading examples of excellent customer service in this particular market. Her name is Georgia and she does an excellent job at serving the clients and their needs. In my honest opinion she deserves a chance to show her leadership skills and abilities. When it comes to such great employees their happiness matters. Investing in great employees always means sustainable future for the company and team.

I went here on my first day in Amsterdam. I bought a box of the dynamite dragons. I consumed the whole box just as instructed, and nothing happened. Two days later i went to another shop i cant remember the name of and bought some valhalla truffles. I ate the box and it put me exactly where i wanted to be.

Worst service ever at this place. We arrived 11 mins before closing and they wouldn’t let us in. Even after telling them we know what we want and are going to be spending €100+. They couldn’t care less. Went to “When Nature Calls” a few blocks away instead. Arrived 3 mins before closing and he took his time with us and was very knowledgeable. Great experience and customer service. You should go there instead of this place since Tatanka apparently doesn’t want your business anyways.

they should not close the doors 5 minutes before 10:00, as it’s still a working hours, but next day I came was quite good - they worked and gave good advices on things I wanted. Especially, want to thank a spanish-speaking guy (as I thought), he was really kind to speak english!

It was a good experience for me but my girlfriend had a really bad trip after eating truffles. I tried Atlantis and it was good for me if you are really beginner then you should go for the psilocybin Atlantis and if you want to get to the heights of the world then you should try Hawaiian highs

My wife and I had heard about the benefits of psilocybin for some time and so when we were in Amsterdam we decided we would try truffles. We went into Tatanka Smartshop and we were greeted by a friendly shop assistant. I explained that it was our first time and so I had a deluge of questions. The shop owner / manager Luca was nearby and came to assist us. He was extremely knowledgeable and was very happy to give us plenty of time but yet was not pushy about products. If I was to say one word about him I would say he was 'kind'. My wife and I both had a very positive experience from the truffle and from the way we were looked after by Luca. We will both be back at some stage later in the year. I can wholeheartedly recommend Luca and the Tatanka Smartshop to get good safe advice and products.

Really nice customer service. This is the very first time I try the mushroom and the lady who work in shop was a nice person, polite. She gave us tips and introduce the mushrooms carefully and help us a lot. Highly recommended and thank you for your tips. We did have an amazing trip.

:( Followed all the instructions. Maintained an empty stomach. Didn’t consume anything else than water and truffles. Waited for 2 hours. But nothing happened. I heard so much about truffles curing depression. Disappointed. This was one of the only hopes I had of getting better. :(

The shopkeeper wasn't very reliable. Even though we ended up buying something, the advice we got wasn't very safe and quite irresponsible in retrospect. The guy just wanted to sell us stuff and wasn't concerned about safe usage. For example, he told us it's OK to take 3 full boxes of the strongest truffles they had, in one day. In contrast to other shops we went to, this was beyond irresponsible and frankly, greedy.

The employee advised to take multiple boxes of some of the strongest truffles in one day, which not only was very irresponsible but gave us the idea that he was over selling product. He was also advising us to take the truffles with chocolate, which is high on sugar. This guy was either high while working or had no idea what he was talking about. Avoid this shop, go somewhere else like Magic Mushroom Gallery, where the staff is much more friendly and professional.

Good store. They have at least two joints in Amsterdam, did not thoroughly check, but been in both of them. The girl who worked that evening in this one was very kind, (as I'm finding lots of people here are. Very chill and pleasant to speak to), and pretty. Tried mushrocks first, was not impressed, but I'm a mutant, so don't listen. Second try was high Hawaiians, and to be honest i did not do everything by the book. But was really satisfied with the outcome. In the middle of the trip right now. Probably will try more, and definitely will come back to the store, even if it's just to see the kinds of people who work in this field, very pleasant expirience from all sides. And if done properly - worth more than it actually costs. Wishing y'all a nice time ahead.

The guys behind the register were super helpful and nice. We got the pink ones (sorry forgot the full name) and my partner had a great time. Unfortunately for me though my medications of mood stabilizers and antidepressants seemed to have blocked the effect for me, but thats no one’s fault.

In the beginning I Though this was a scam shop but i can say with dignity I was proven wrong immensely. I did bough a mushroom growkit unfortunately it was infected already. So i went to the shop instead thinking this would be a difficult problem. BUT alas it turned into a great experience. I brought the Hawaiien growkit( one of the more difficult kits) and PROOF of purchase. And after showing this I soon got redirected to the manger who in small chat proofed to be a amazing mycologist aswell. We checked the supply and It turned out the was a infection in the supply. As compensation I could choose a different growkit He even gave my a small batch as apology. Things do go wrong with high experience products but i would say with good experience you should walk into this shop and talk with a true heart. And you will get help and you will end up getting the experience you need.

5/5 customer service, 5/5 product selection, 4/5 for price. I would give 5/5 but their truffle prices were a bit more expensive than other shops Ive been to, around €5 more per box but you get great fresh truffles, High Hawaiians are highly recommend, €20 a box if I recall correctly. Picked up some other products too after explaining to the fella what I was looking for and he was able to pretty much narrow it down to 2-3 products that would help me achieve what I desired, explaining how and why the product works and explain safety precautions ie. no excessive alcohol (though you can buy bottle with a shot in it to wash down the products as alcohol helps and synergises with the products I bought) and NOT to mix them with other chems such as MDMA/ecstasy, coke and definitely no mushrooms/truffles/acid which I already knew but was VERY grateful to hear a reminder and how knowledgeable the guy was. I always use here for my truffles as I stay relatively close by, knowing Im getting a safe, fresh product each time from a knowledgeable, trustworthy shop. I just wish you guys even reduced prices by 5% but thats business.

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM ONLINE. I found this YouTuber who talked so highly about Tatanka. So I checked their website out. 10th of January 2021, I ordered High Hawaiian and Dragon Dynamite. I sent the money successfully via bank-transfer. Later the week, they sent me an email asking if the adresse in their site was correct and I approved and responded back. It is now 28th of January 2021 and I still havn't got any parcel nor update about it. Never have I heard from them again. I sent 2 email regarding that the product is still "on-hold" in the website, but never got a response.

No tracking number, no email replies, absolute scammers!!! My girlfriend ordered from Tatanka as the website looks very professional and has high reviews on google, however they do not have TrustPilot profile. Surprise, surprise..Would suggest to anyone interested in buying their products to do it from AvalonMagic.. Same products for cheaper price and delivered on time!! Its been 3 days from the order placed and no any reply from them. Took the money and disappeared..
