Such a great store in a perfect location… More than that..the best part was Katarina the girl who worked there when I was visiting… she was sooo professional about the store products and gave me the best advise for the best adventure that I was looking for… the experience with Hawaiians truffles

I visited this shop based on the positive reviews I had seen online. Upon entering, I was greeted by a gentleman with dreadlocks. I inquired about the differences between Kratom capsules and the loose leaf form, but unfortunately, he was unable to provide any information and suggested I wait for his boss. After some time, I asked again about his boss's availability, only to be told that the boss hadn’t been in the shop for years. The lack of knowledge and assistance left me feeling disappointed with my experience. Ultimately, I chose to visit The Head Shop, where I was met with friendly, knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all my questions. Overall, my experience here did not meet my expectations, and I would recommend seeking out other options if you're looking for informed guidance.

I have very mixed feelings about my visit at this place. I visited the shop a few weeks ago on Saturday night with 2 of my friends. It would be our first experience with truffles and we were a bit nervous. There were 2 guys in the shop, 1 with dreads (the chill one) and another who kept calling us habibi the whole time (the cheesy one and reason I’m writing this negative review). The super sweet guy behind the counter was trying his best to help us understand how this works and the effects and he seemed very interested to help us have a great first truffles experience. However, the other guy was flirty and cheesy from the moment we walked in and he didn't seem to be interested in helping us as customers. We had to go through the whole talk of where are you from and how beautiful we all are and all these boring things guys ask in a bar. The problem is we weren't in a bar and we were there to buy truffles so we tried focus on the guy trying to help us as we felt safer talking with him. He was really chill and didn't seem interested in what we were wearing but rather was doing his job and treating us like he would treat 4 guys if we were that. The other guy kept being annoying and was interrupting the one trying to help us behind the counter with all kinds of flirty cheesy comments. We were loosing our patience with him as he couldn't come out of his "saturday night hunting" state of mind. We chatted privately for a bit and decided we were ready to go upon realizing he had crossed our limits. We said we will think about it and the cheesy guy said "we will wait for you beautiful ladies" while we were leaving. We passed by the shop again later that night and the cheesy guy was outside the door. He then catcalled us which almost made us run. A few days later we passed by the shop earlier in the afternoon and the chill guy was there smoking outside. When he saw us he immediately apologized for the behavior of his manager the other night. We were so shocked that the creepy guy was not an employee but the manager. This would absolutely not be the person who you would expect to have such behavior when dealing with customers. We found it very sweet that the chill guy apologized for someone else who is also higher in rank than him. He really meant the apologies and we felt it and thanked him for it. We also decided to go in the shop after knowing the manager wasn't there. He helped us again to choose what's best for us and as it was quiet, he gave us all information we could need as first timers. He was respectful all the way and made no comment on our appearance. We chose Tampanesis and Mexicana as first timers after recommendation of Dimitris, as we found out was his name. I give 5 stars for him and 0 stars for the creepy manager. Ladies always ask if the manager is there before entering the shop. If he is there, run! If any other staff is there we want to believe that everyone is like Dimitris, respectful and chill. Thank you for trying your best turn this super negative experience into a positive one Dimitris.

Shout out for the nice guy who explained us everything very well. His name is Dimitris. If someone want to try the shrooms just go to the shop were he works in Halvemaanateeg 12, 1017 Amsterdam. He is very informative and very polite. He do his work with lot of passion.

We visited the shop last week with a group of friends and we were so lucky the Greek guy with the dreadlocks was working. He was very helpful and answered all our questions regarding many different products. Definitely he helped us have a very positive experience. Highly recommended place to visit if you want to be informed well and be treated amazing.

Thanks to Dimitri we had a lovely first time magic truffles experience. He was very informative and despite it was a busy moment and he was alone in the shop, he helped us very well and made us laugh. If you want to have a great time trying magic truffles, this is the place to be. See you next summer and greetings from France!!! ❤️

Disappointing. I walked it and was barely greeted in an empty shop. I had a cart already prepared on my phone with several items. Finally got a “what do you want”. I said the first item and the attendant rang it up and said “you pay card here”. I told him already I had made a cart of items. At this point, I just bought the one thing and left. Wish I didn’t give them a penny now. Was sent off with a “have fun”. Guess I’ll go to the bougie-looking store “When Nature Calls” now.

The right place for what you are looking for. Great knowledge of the products, kind service, right atmosphere.

Not being taking serious at all . Thought I was a regular valued customer but never been treated more as trash than this place. They only work for profit not sharing happiness. Don’t buy!

My go to place for all headshop paraphernalia. Kenya is one of the nicest people ever and she is very thoughtful and will help guide you through whatever experience you wish to have. Don't listen to the bad reviews, it's most likely just people who didn't properly follow instructions for truffles and therefore didn't enjoy it. The shop gives advice and recommendations, that doesn't guarantee it will work the same for everyone. They to their best at informing everyone to the fullest while also communicating that experiences can be very subjective. It's a real community place ❤️

I was a little intimidated as a newbie, but Gary (Irish hottie) was sure to walk me through all the nuances, pros/cons, and how to maximize my experience. The shop is clean and cute, with a friendly vibe. Check it out!

Bought 20 g Dragon's Dynamite. Clearly zero psilocybin content; no blue tinge anywhere and absolutely no psychogenic effects. I'm disappointed and see that 2 others have left the same complaint in the last month. Not sure what's up, but recommend you pick a different smartshop.

Mushrooms didn’t kick in for all of us and we went back to get either a refund or simply good ones… there was nothing to do … I would not recommend the store.

We got the Dutch Dragon, 15grams for each. It had literally zero effect on all of us. Very disappointing quality.

I went to the store about 5-6 days ago. The shop assistant was one of the nicest people i have met in my entire Amsterdam stay. We told her we were first time users and she was really helpful in guiding us to the product best suited for the outcome we wanted. I wish I asked for her name because she had a literal aura about her. Please help me find her, she is Brazilian, because i really wan to thank her for everything. Keep this lady, promote her, give her a raise! ❤️

Came here to buy some truffles for our group and got fantastic customer service and the advice was spot on!! We were going to go for the weakest stuff but we're talked out of it and am very grateful for that! The potency and dosage was exactly what the doctor ordered! We bought atlantis and was told it would be perfect for a tight knit group with little to no experience in psychedelics which it definitely was! Would absolutely come back for the service and chit chat during future trips to Amsterdam! If you're looking for the Amsterdam experience then definitely check this place out

Over charges and the prices may vary. Not very customer centric. Over charged tremendously and tried to over charge my friend on another item. I did knock down a case of cookies but offered to pay. Good selection of stuff just terrible service and pricing. Would avoid at all costs

Don't trust the reviews in terms of how good the product is. Bough Dragon 2*15g up here, 0 effect while I actually pretty low tolerant even on alcohol. And that's after I really politely explained the salesman that recently I tried Atlantis and it had 0 effect on me, he was swearing this gonna work

Came here asking to buy something and got schooled on how bad a person I am for asking to buy it and how plastics are damaging for an environment. Literally asked just one sentence before getting that lecture. Never seen in my entire life a seller that tries to make you feel bad for wanting to buy what they are selling. What a bizarre experience.

My kit wasn't working even though I followed the instructions 100%. Super sterile with gloves, mask etc. I mailed them a few questions and with pictures, almost 2 weeks ago - no response. 0 customer service. Very unhappy to lose this much money for nothing.

Stay away from this store. Violent speaking and execrable seller. Don't expect anything from him except bad words

Great shop! Fast service & good selection of products! I visited Tatanka specifically for truffles which we got! I was not disappointed.. if you have never tried them before don’t worry! The effect isn’t too much if you eat only eat a quarter. They staff are also friendly and will guide / help with any questions you have Highly recommended
